How do I change the default browser in Windows 11?
Open Settings, then Apps, then Default apps, choose the browser you want, and press the button at the top that makes it the default.
The steps
Press Start and open Settings. Go to Apps, then Default apps.
Find the browser you want and click it, then press the button at the top of the page that makes it the default (it’s called Set default).

Update Windows. Older versions of Windows 11 make you change each link type on its own: .htm, .html, HTTP and HTTPS.
