How do I translate a video into Arabic?
If the video is on YouTube and has written captions, YouTube can turn them into Arabic from its settings. For other sites, m7bok translates the video for you while you watch it, with no file to upload and no link to copy.
On YouTube
Press the gear under the video, then Subtitles, then Auto-translate, and choose Arabic. This only works if the video already has written captions.
In m7bok
Rest the mouse on the video while it plays, and press “Translate”, then “Translate video”. m7bok recognises the spoken language by itself, and Arabic subtitles appear over the video.
The first time, the video may pause for a few moments while the translation gets ready. The translation comes with a Hammam subscription.
What doesn’t it translate?
Paid platforms that protect their videos. And the translation is written subtitles, not a voice dub.
