What is automation?

Automation means letting a machine or a program do the work that keeps repeating, instead of you doing it by hand every time. Like a reply that goes out by itself, or files that sort themselves into folders.

Where do you meet it every day?

In factories, machines assemble parts; in companies, programs make invoices and send them; on your phone, a reminder pops up at the same time every day. All of that is automation.

Old automation and new

The old kind follows fixed steps a programmer wrote, and any small change to the page or the program stops it.

The new kind, with AI, takes what you want in plain words and reads the page or the program the way you see it, so you don’t have to write out the steps.

Hammam takes the tasks that keep coming back to you: tell him what you want, and he does it in the browser and in your PC’s programs and files, while you watch and stop him whenever you like.
